This charger is compatible with most SLA batteries with capacities ranging from 1.2Ah-120Ah in 12V or 1.2Ah-50Ah in 6V (for lead acid battery), it may also be used with some WET, GEL and LITHIUM batteries (1.2Ah-120Ah). Before charging a battery, please refer to your batteries user manual or the manufacturers charging guidelines. Using a 7 step microprocessor controlled charging program, batteries can be recharged to almost 100% of their capacity and the charger can be left connected to the battery in maintenance mode for extended periods. The automatic ‘recondition’ mode can restore life into ‘dead’ batteries and help to break up the sulfate inside increasing theirce and capacity. The processor controls both the charging programs as well as the safety of the device as it waits for the battery to be correctly connected before charging.
